Oven Cleaning Melksham
Our 8-Stage Professional Oven Cleaning Process
1/ Inspection /Survey
We’ll inspect the fan, controls, seal, fixings, and bulb housing, among other things, during our first visit to ensure that everything is working properly.
Before we begin cleaning, we’ll let you know if we discover anything that requires your attention.
2/ Preparation
Oven cleaning is a messy job as you can imagine.
Protecting the area and items around your appliance is critical in order to prevent splashes from damaging them.
Dust sheets and other barriers will be put in place to prevent this from happening.
3/ Racks, fan and bulb
We remove the bulb cover, fan cover, and fan, as well as the racks and rack holders, so that we can dip.
Because every oven is unique, the fan and/or rack holders may not be removable in some models; in these cases, we clean the oven from the inside..
4. Dipping
We then transport the disassembled components to the van, where they are dipped in our top-of-the-line dip tank, which is at its highest temperature at this point.
Carbon will no longer be a problem with this method. Even if a particular item cannot be dipped, there are other ways to clean it.
5. Clean Inside the Oven
Before we begin cleaning, we heat the interior of the oven to help loosen the grease and dirt.
Once we are satisfied that the oven is clean, we will thoroughly rinse it TWICE.
6. Door strip down
To access the interior glass, the door is disassembled to the greatest extent possible; some doors have two panels, while others have three.
The grease gulley and door are typically removed during this step. It’s time for the glass to be cleaned and the door to be put back together.
7. Finishing touches
We go over the entire oven with a final wipe down and dry both inside and out to ensure its sparkling.
Where applicable we will use a special stainless steel oil to give a streak free finish, a very nice touch.
8. Tidy up and checks.
In order to make sure everything is working properly again, we clean up our protective coverings and cleaning supplies before returning to the oven for a final check.
As a rule, we’ll preheat the oven after cleaning to make sure no cleaning residue is left behind.
Why Get Your Oven Cleaned?
Even though cleaning an oven involves using harsh chemicals and a lot of effort, failure to do so can lead to serious issues.
It’s common for food to get stuck on the grills, sides, and base of your oven when you’re cooking something like a roast dinner with a lot of fat.
Everything you cook in your oven will taste a little smoky because of the food residue that will burn and, in the worst-case scenario, catch fire.
Untreated food residue harbours bacteria that can contaminate other items cooked in your oven, putting your family and even yourself at danger.
The oven’s health must also be examined. The same food residue can attach to the oven’s mechanical parts and filters, reducing performance and perhaps causing a malfunction.
If you clean your oven regularly, you will save money and avoid having to buy a new oven.

Aesthetics
We take pride in our home and want it to look its best, especially when we have visitors like friends and neighbours over.
You can’t imagine the embarrassment of inviting friends or family over for dinner only to reveal a dirty oven.
The benefits of having a professional oven cleaning service come to your home on a regular basis far outweigh the costs.
Why use a professional?
Professionalism is in the name; we’ve got the right training, knowledge, and experience in addition to the best tools and the most up-to-date cleaning solutions to get the job done right.
If you remove the oven door incorrectly or break an element, you could end up with a malfunctioning oven.
There is a risk of damaging the doors if we strip them, but we know what we’re doing and have the experience to know when to stop.
Putting some oven doors back together can be a challenge.
Every step of our method has been thoroughly developed to give the best results while protecting the oven.
In addition to improving the aesthetic and performance of your oven, a professional clean ensures that your meal is free of smoke flavour and germ risk from food residue.
You’d call a pro to fix your car, so why not your oven?
Insurance
The fact that we’ve never had to call our insurance company to file a claim does not diminish the importance of having the proper insurance as a professional company.
You can relax knowing that if something goes wrong, we’ve got a plan in place to deal with it.
However, if you have any questions, feel free to give us a call.
We’re always available to talk and answer any questions you may have.
Make sure you inquire about this before hiring anyone, especially if it’s a tradesman, because cowboys are out there and they’ll often overlook it.
When in doubt, just give us a call and we’ll clear things up for you.
We are always more than happy to have a chat and answer any concerns.
