Carpet Cleaning Corsham
Our 8-Stage Professional Carpet Cleaning Process
1/ Carpet Survey
We carry out a 5 point inspection.
- Ascertain that carpets are firmly installed.
- Determine the carpet’s structure and fibre composition.
- Analyse the carpet pile’s PH level.
- Check for any remnants of prior chemicals.
- To avoid colour bleed, conduct a dye bleed test.
2/ Dry Extraction.
We give the carpets a good vacuum using our professional grade, twin motor, upright hoover.
About 80% to 85% of the dirt in your carpet comes from dry soil.
Removing this initially is vital to get out as much of the dry soil before we wet it and produce “mud” (and to avoid to avoid wick back).
3/ Carpet Pre-Spray
We will have identified your carpet’s fibre and chosen an eco-friendly pre spray after your carpet survey has been conducted.
This is sprayed straight onto your carpet to start breaking down dirt and soil before extraction.
4. Agitation
We use our contra rotating brush machine to push the prespray deeper into the fibre.
This helps to elevate the pile and loosen attached dirt.
5. Spray Extraction
Spray extraction provides the most thorough clean for your carpets (when performed by qualified specialists).
An acidic rinse is sprayed onto the carpet and extracted with our top-of-the-line extraction machine.
6. Spot Treatment
After we have finished with the spray extraction, we will walk over your carpets one more time to search for any spots or stains that require additional treatment.
We will apply a proper stain treatment, making every effort to utilise environmentally friendly chemicals whenever possible.
7. Stain Protection
If you selected our stain protector, here is the stage at which it will be applied.
While stain guards can aid in the removal of future spills or dirt, they are not foolproof!
8. Pile Brush
We groom the carpet with a grooming brush.
This promotes air circulation, lowers drying time, and allows the carpet to rest naturally.

Health
Dust Mites
One square metre of carpet may house about 100,000 dust mittes.
Dead mittes and their droppings can account for up to 10% of the weight of a 2-year-old cushion.
Hoovering alone will NOT get rid of them.
Pets
Pets can carry a wide variety of germs and bacteria, whether they come from the outside on their coats and hair or from the saliva surrounding their lips.
It will be gathered by your home’s largest air filter (your carpet)!
Children
A child’s favourite things to transmitt into your carpets include filthy hands, dirty shoes, and mud.
Simply get your carpets professionally cleaned to ensure that no mittes, germs, or bacteria are passed on to your child.
Dust Mites
Looking after oneself and family is second nature to most people, which is just one reason why you should get your carpets PROFESSIONALLY cleaned periodically.
The easiest way to think about carpet is as your houses largest air filter.
Daily traffic pushes the dirt further into the carpet’s fibres as it lies there accumulating dust and filth from the air, dogs, and boots, to mention a few.
Professional thorough cleaning eliminates all of this.
House dust mitte allergies are highly frequent and lead to diseases such as asthma and eczema.
With one square metre of carpet averaging 67 grammes of dust that’s plenty for the mittes to feast on.
The House Dust Mite
A serious threat to your health
It’s actually the proteins in the mittes’ faeces which causes the allergy and not generally the mitte itself.
Even more individuals are suffering the ravages of dust mittes, which may excrete up to 200 times their own weight in excrement every day.
Consider this if you have little children. Babies and toddlers spend a lot of time crawling and rolling around the floor which brings them in to close proximitty to the disturbed dust.
Our 8 stage deep carpet cleaning technique will help lessen the effects of dust mittes and offer a healthier atmosphere for you and your family.
Pets
No matter how much we like them, it’s possible that our animal pals are adding to our allergy problems.
All of their bodily fluids contain proteins that might irritate sensitive individuals. In addition, their hair can collect allergens such as dust, fleas and pollen that can become embedded in carpets when an animal sheds.
The dead skin, or dander, of our furry pals also gathers on surfaces like carpet.
Pet allergies are especially harmful because they’re sticky and adhere to surfaces, and when they’re disturbed, they linger out in the air for a long time.
Even those who don’t own pets become exposed to pet dander because it hitches rides on clothes.
Aesthetics – Looking nice.
Our home is our largest investment and as such we want to maintain it looking well, especially while having friends and neighbours over.
As much as we don’t like to admitt it, we all have a good nose when visiting someone’s house, eying up the décor and furniture.
Dirty carpet is likely to stick out like a sore thumb.
Having a frequent professional carpet clean will undoubtedly be noticed for the correct reasons and have your guests back again.

Why use a professional?
Why should you hire a pro?
The term “professional” says it all.
We have the necessary expertise, understanding, and experience, as well as top-of-the-line equipment and cutting-edge cleaning solutions, to complete the work correctly.
Quite frequently, we are called to a job where the client has attempted to remove a stain or spill using an old wives’ tale or a treatment found on doctor google.
Unfortunately, this do-it-yourself strategy frequently results in the stain becoming set, making it tough to remove.
We consider a variety of variables when determining which product to use on each carpet, and for good reason.
Using the incorrect product on the incorrect carpet type may result in more harm than good, necessitating a total replacement.
To avoid wear, it is critical to utilise the proper brushes during agitation and the correct pressure level on the machine.
Finally, if necessary, use an acidic rinse to restore the PH level of the carpet to its proper level (to ensure the dye is left stable and also reduce any chance of skin irritation to you, your family and pets).
Not only will a professional clean leave your carpets looking, feeling, and smelling amazing, but it will also keep them clean for an extended period of time. How? By minimising and removing detergent residues in the cloth whenever feasible.
Would you consider trying your hand at plastering or installing a new boiler? I would venture to think that is not the case. You’d select an expert. Your carpets should be uniform in colour and texture.
Insurance
While we have never had to call our insurance company to file a claim, it is critical that we carry all of the necessary insurances as a professional organisation.
That way, if something goes wrong, you can rest certain that we have a plan in place to deal with any concerns that may occur.
There are many cowboys out there who will ignore this element of their business, so always inquire before scheduling anyone.
