Carpet Cleaning Westbury
Our 8-Stage Professional Carpet Cleaning Process
1/ Carpet Survey
We carry out a 5 point inspection.
- Ascertain that carpets are firmly fastened.
- Determine the carpet’s structure and fibre content.
- Determine the PH of the carpet pile.
- Examine the area for any remnants of prior chemicals.
- To avoid colour bleeding, conduct a dye bleed test.
2/ Dry Extraction.
We thoroughly vacuum the carpets with our industrial dual motor upright hoover.
Dry soiling makes up 80-85% of carpet dirt.
Removing this initially prevents contaminants from adhering to the fibres and wicking back.
3/ Carpet Pre-Spray
We will have assessed your carpet’s fibre and selected an appropriate eco-friendly pre-spray after doing your carpet survey.
Prior to extraction, this is sprayed directly onto your carpet to begin breaking down any leftover dirt and soil.
4. Agitation
We go over the carpets with our professional grade contra rotating brush equipment to work the prespray deeper into the fibres.
This helps to loosen any stubborn dirt while also lifting the pile.
5. Spray Extraction
Spray extraction provides the most thorough cleaning for your carpets (when performed by skilled specialists).
Our top-of-the-line extraction machine sprays an acidic rinse onto the carpet and then extracts it.
6. Spot Treatment
After we finish the spray extraction, we will inspect your carpets for any spots or stains that require additional treatment.
We will apply an appropriate stain treatment, using eco-friendly chemicals whenever possible.
7. Stain Protection
If you have chosen to have our stain protector this is the stage we will apply it.
Stain protectors will help when it comes to removing any future spills or dirt BUT they are not bulletproof!
8. Pile Brush
We go over the carpet with a grooming brush to lift the pile.
This helps the air to circulate around and reduces drying time then once dry, it encourages the carpet to lie in its natural position.

Health
Dust Mites
Nearly 100,000 dust mittes may dwell in one-square-meter of carpet.
Up to 10 percent of the weight of a 2-year-old pillow can be made of dead mittes and their droppings.
Hoovering alone will NOT remove them.
Pets
Pets may carry various forms of germs and bacteria, be it from the outdoors on their coats and hair or from the saliva surrounding their lips.
The largest air filter in your home (your carpet) will catch it!
Children
Greasy hands, muddy shoes, and mud are just a few of the things that children enjoy depositing on your carpets.
Simply get your carpets professionally cleaned to ensure that no mittes, germs, or bacteria are passed on to your child.
Dust Mites
Looking after oneself and family is second nature to most people, which is just one reason why you should get your carpets PROFESSIONALLY cleaned periodically.
The easiest way to think about carpet is as your houses largest air filter.
As it lies there, accumulating dirt and grime from everything from the air to pet hair and shoes, it’s being driven further and deeper into the fibres.
Professional thorough cleaning eliminates all of this.
House dust mitte allergies are highly frequent and lead to diseases such as asthma and eczema.
With one square metre of carpet averaging 67 grammes of dust that’s plenty for the mittes to feast on.
The House Dust Mite
A serious threat to your health
It’s actually the proteins in the mittes’ faeces which causes the allergy and not generally the mitte itself.
No one should be surprised that so many individuals are affected by dust mittes, which may excrete up to 200 times their own weight in excrement every day!
If you have children under the age of eight, you should pay special attention to this. Babies and toddlers spend a lot of time crawling and rolling around the floor which brings them in to close proximitty to the disturbed dust.
Our 8 stage deep carpet cleaning technique will help lessen the effects of dust mittes and offer a healthier atmosphere for you and your family.
Pets
While we all like our dogs and consider them to be family members, our furry companions may be contributing to our allergies.
Their saliva, urine, and other fluids include proteins that may cause allergic reactions, and their hair frequently retains dust, fleas, and pollen that become embedded in carpets when the animals shed.
Our furry pals’ dead skin, or dander, also accumulates on surfaces such as carpet.
Pet allergies are particularly bothersome since they are sticky and adhere to surfaces, and they linger in the air for an extended period of time when disturbed.
Even those who do not own dogs are exposed to pet dander through clothes.
Aesthetics – Looking nice.
Our home is our largest investment and as such we want to maintain it looking well, especially while having friends and neighbours over.
As much as we don’t like to admit it, we all have a good nose when visiting someone’s house (eying up the décor and furniture). A dirty carpet is likely to stick out like a sore thumb.
Having a frequent professional carpet clean will undoubtedly be noticed for the correct reasons and have your guests back again.

Why use a professional?
Why should you hire a professional?
It’s in the phrase “professional.”
We have the necessary expertise, understanding, and experience, as well as top-of-the-line equipment and the most up-to-date cleaning products, to get the job done RIGHT.
Quite often, we are called to a job where the client has attempted to remove a stain or spill on their own using an old wives’ tale or a doctor google remedy.
Unfortunately, this DIY solution is frequently the source of the problem, and instead of eliminating the spot or stain, it has actually set the stain, making removal hard.
(the softest possible) There are several aspects we consider when deciding which product to use on each carpet, and there is a reason for this.
Using the incorrect product on the wrong carpet type might cause more harm than good, and can even necessitate a total replacement.
It’s critical to know which brushes to use during agitation and what pressure level to utilise on the machine to avoid wear.
Finally, if necessary, use an acidic rinse to bring the carpet’s PH level back up to where it should be (to ensure the dye is left stable and also reduce any chance of skin irritation to you, your family and pets).
Not only will a professional clean leave your carpets looking, feeling, and smelling amazing, but it will also keep them clean for longer. How? By decreasing and, where feasible, removing any detergent residues left in the cloth.
Would you want to try your hand at plastering or installing a new boiler? I’m assuming not. You’d hire a professional. Your carpets should be the same.
Insurance
While we have never had to contact our insurance carrier to file a claim, it is critical that we carry the necessary insurances as a professional organisation.
Thus, if anything does go wrong, you can be certain that we have everything in place and are capable of resolving any difficulties that may emerge.
There are many of cowboys who will disregard this element of their business, so always inquire before scheduling anyone.
This is self-evident for any tradespeople you hire to perform work for you.
If you are uncertain about anything, though, you may always pick up the phone and call us.
We are always willing to speak with you and address any issues you may have.
Commercial Carpet Cleaning
First impressions are critical. They may make or spoil an opportunity.
It’s human nature to form a judgement on someone when you first meet them… BUT Did you know that people can create an impression about you in less than 20 seconds!
For this reason, it’s crucial that your initial impression is always your best one.
